NOTE: Keep all foreign particles out of the transmission.
1. Park the vehicle on the level ground.
2. Warm up the engine to normal operating
temperature (the radiator fan comes on), and turn
the engine off.
3. Remove the drain plug (A), and drain the automatic
transmission fluid (ATF).

SRS components are located in this area. Review the
SRS component locations, and the
precautions and procedures before
doing repairs or service.
1. Make sure you have anti-theft codes for the audio
system and the navigation system (if equipped).
2. Make sure the ignition is OFF, then disconnect the
