Charging system indicator does not come on with the ignition switch ON (II)

Charging system indicator stays on

  1. Check for PGM-FI DTCs
  2. Troubleshoot the charging system indicator circuit
  3. Check for a broken drive belt
  4. Check the drive belt auto-tensioner

Battery discharged

  1. Check for excessive parasitic electrical current draw
  2. Check for a broken drive belt
  3. Check the drive belt auto-tensioner
