General Operation
The automatic transmission is a combination of a 3-element torque converter
and triple-shaft electronically controlled
unit which provides 5 speeds forward and 1 reverse. The entire unit is
positioned in line with the engine.
Torque Converter, Gears, and Clutches
The torque converter consists of a

To lock all doors and the tailgate,
push the top of the master door lock
switch on either front door, pull the
lock tab rearward on the driver’s
door, or use the key on the outside
lock on the driver’s door.
Pushing the rear of either master
door lock switch will unlock all door
