System Description
Overview
The audio unit acts as the "processor" for all audio functions. Select audio
functions from the audio unit, the audio
remote (on the steering wheel), or by using the navigation voice control system.
The audio display provides the
current audio status. For vehicles with navigation, additio

NOTE: Before you troubleshoot, record all freeze data
and any on-board snapshot, and review the general
troubleshooting information.
1. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
3. Start the engine, and wait 1 minute.
4. Check for Temporary DTCs or DTCs with the HDS.
