After everyone has entered the
vehicle, be sure the doors and the
tailgate are closed and locked.

Adjust the driver’s seat as far to the
rear as possible while allowing you to
maintain full control of the vehicle.
Have a front passenger adjust their
seat as far to the rear as possible

Put on gloves to protect your hands.
Take care not to damage the windshield,
Do not use any metallic tools to remove the roof
molding, or you may chip
If the Engine Overheats
The reading of the vehicle’s
temperature gauge should stay in
the midrange. If it climbs to the red
mark, you should determine the
reason (hot day, driving up a steep
hill, etc.).
If the vehicle overheats, you should
take immediate action. The only
indication may be the temperature
