CAUTION
Do not insert your fingers into the installed throttle
body when you turn the ignition switch ON (II) or
while the ignition switch is ON (II). If you do, you
will seriously injure your fingers

1. Park the vehicle, and set the
parking brake. Pull the hood
release handle located under the
lower left corner of the dashboard.
The hood will pop up slightly.
2. Reach in between the hood and
the front grille with your fingers.
The hood latch handle is above
the ‘‘H’’ log
DTC P0443: EVAP Canister Purge Valve

Special Tools Required
Vacuum pump/gauge, 0-30 in.Hg, Snap-on YA4000A
or equivalent, commercially available.
