Avoid driving through deep water. If you encounter water in your route (a small stream or large puddle, for example), evaluate it carefully before going ahead. Make sure it is shallow, flowing slowly, and has firm ground underneath. If you are not sure of the depth or the ground, turn around and find another route.
Driving through deep water can also damage your vehicle. The water can get into the transmission and differential, diluting the lubricant and causing an eventual failure. It can also wash the grease out of the wheel bearings.

Driveshaft Inspection
1. Check the inboard boot (A) and the outboard boot
(B) on the driveshaft (C) for cracks, damage, leaking
grease, and loose boot bands (D). If any damage is
found, replace the boot and boot bands.
2. Turn the driveshaft by hand, and make sure the
splines (E) and joint are not excessively loose.

Changing a Tire with TPMS
If you have a flat tire, the low tire
pressure indicator will come on.
Replace the flat tire with the
compact spare tire.
Each wheel (except the compact
spare tire wheel) is equippedwith a
tire pressure sensor. You must use
TPMS specific wheels. It is
