You can use the instrument panel brightness control knob to adjust the illumination of the audio system. The audio system illuminates when the parking lights are on, even if the radio is turned off.

To Play a Disc
To load or play a disc, the ignition
switch must be in the ACCESSORY
(I) or ON (II) position.
You operate the disc player with the
same controls used for the radio. To
select the disc player,
To Stop Playing a Disc
Press the eject button (
) to
remove the disc. If you eject the disc,
but do not remove it from the slot,
the system will automatically reload
the disc after 10 seconds and put it in
pause

NOTE: Before doing this troubleshooting procedure,
review SRS Precautions and Procedures.
1. Erase the DTC memory.
2. Read the DTC.
Is DTC 82-14 indicated?
YES-Go to step 3.
NO-Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this
time. Go to Troubleshooting Intermittent Failures.

Cleaning the Seat Belts
Dirt build-up in the loops of the seat
belt anchors can cause the belts to
retract slowly. Wipe the insides of
the loops with a clean cloth
dampened in mild soap and warm
water or isopropyl alcohol.
If your seat belts get dirty, use a soft
brush with a mixture of mild soap
and warm
