You can use the instrument panel brightness control knob to adjust the illumination of the audio system. The audio system illuminates when the parking lights are on, even if the radio is turned off.

To Play a Disc
To load or play a disc, the ignition
switch must be in the ACCESSORY
(I) or ON (II) position.
You operate the disc player with the
same controls used for the radio. To
select the disc player,
To Stop Playing a Disc
Press the eject button (
) to
remove the disc. If you eject the disc,
but do not remove it from the slot,
the system will automatically reload
the disc after 10 seconds and put it in
pause

Use the following tests to check sound quality.
NOTE: Before beginning the following tests, write down
the customer's bass, treble, fader and balance settings,
and then set them to their center positions for testing.

1. Remove the crankshaft and pistons.
2. Check the piston for distortion or cracks.
3. Measure the piston diameter at a point 13 mm
(0.5 in.) from the bottom of the skirt. There are two
standard-size pistons (No Letter or A, and B). The
letter is stamped on the top of the piston. Letters
