Push the release knob to open or close the console compartment, slide the lid rearward.

Seat Under Tray
If equipped
Your vehicle has a seat under tray
located under the front passenger
seat. Use the tray by pulling on the
front center edge of the tray.

1. Check for poor connections or loose terminals at
ECT sensor 1/2 and the IAT sensor.
Are the connections and terminals OK?
YES-Go to step 2.
NO-Repair the connecto
DTC P1658: ETCS Control Relay ON
Malfunction
NOTE: Before you troubleshoot. record all freeze data and any on-board
snapshot, and review the general troubleshooting information.
1. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
2. Do the ETCS TEST in the INSPECTION MENU with
the HDS.
Is the RELAY circuit OK? YES-Intermittent failure, the system is OK a
