Your vehicle’s onboard diagnostic
system will detect a loose or missing
fuel fill cap as an evaporative system
leak. The first time a leak is detected
a ‘‘CHECK FUEL CAP’’ message

1. Remove the front wheel arch protector, as needed.
2. Remove the front inner fender (A).
Remove the screws (B, C), and remove the bolt (D) securing the front
bumper (E) and front inner fender.

Brake System Indicator

switch to the ON (II) position, and as
