Your vehicle has been designed primarily to carry passengers and their cargo. You can also use it to tow a trailer if you carefully observe the load limits, use the proper equipment, and follow the guidelines in this section.
Break-In Period
Avoid towing a trailer during your vehicle’s first 600 miles (1,000 km).
Be sure to read the Off-Highway Driving Guidelines section if you plan to tow off paved surfaces.
Exceeding any load limit or improperly loading your vehicle and trailer can cause a crash in which you can be seriously hurt or killed.
Check the loading of your vehicle and trailer carefully before starting to drive.

Adding Engine Oil
Unscrew and remove the engine oil
fill cap on top of the valve cover.
Pour in the oil slowly and carefully
you do not spill any. Clean up any
spills immediately. Spilled oil could
damage components in the engine
compartment.
Reinstall the engine oil fill cap, and
tighten it securely.
DTC Troubleshooting
DTC P0506: Idle Control System RPM Lower
Than Expected
NOTE: Before you troubleshoot, record all freeze data
and any on-board snapshot, and review the general
troubleshooting information.
1. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
3. Start the engine. Hold the engine speed
