1. Disconnect the VTC oil control solenoid valve 2P
connector (A).
2. Remove the bolt (B) and the VTC oil control
solenoid valve (C).
3. Check the VTC oil control solenoid valve strainer
for cloggin

Put on gloves to protect your hands.
Wear eye protection when removing the glass with
piano wire.
Use seat covers to avoid damaging any surfaces.
The quarter glass molding will need replacement
because it will be damage during glass removal.

This indicator alerts you that the
passenger’s front airbag has been
shut off because weight sensors
detect about 65 lbs (29 kg) or less
(the weight of an infant or small
child) on the front passenger’s seat.
