Open the upper glove box by pushing up the lever. Close it by pulling down on the edge under the lever.

Connecting Rod and Crankshaft End Play
Inspection
1. Remove the oil pump.
2. Remove the baffle plates (see step 7).
3. Measure the connecting rod end play with a feeler
gauge between the connecting rod and crankshaft.
