Honda CR-V: Using the Heater

The heater uses engine coolant to warm the air. If the engine is cold, it will be several minutes before you feel warm air coming from the system.

1. Select When you select.

When you select automatically switches to fresh air, the system automatically switches to fresh air mode. If you switch the mode from , the system or also automatically turns on the, the system also automatically turns on the A/C. This helps prevent the windows from fogging up unintendedly. The A/C indicator will not come on if it was off to start with (see the first column on this page).
