You can use the instrument panel brightness control knob to adjust the illumination of the control panel. The audio system illuminates when the parking lights are on, even if the radio is turned off.

Operating the XM Radio
To listen to XM Radio, turn the
ignition switch to the ACCESSORY
(I) or the ON (II) position. Push the
power/volume knob to turn on the
audio system, and press the CD/XM

Adjusting the Sound
Press the sound (
) button to
select an appropriate setting: bass,
treble, fader, balance, subwoofer (if
equipped), and SVC (speed-sensitive
volume compensation). Turn the
VOL/SELECT knob to adjust the
setting.

Refueling
1. Park with the driver’s side closest
to the service station pump.
2. Open the fuel fill door by pulling
on the handle located under the
lower left corner of the dashboard.
3. Remove the fuel fill cap slowly.
You may hear a hissing sound as
pressure inside the tank equalizes.
