You can use the instrument panel brightness control knob to adjust the illumination of the audio system. The audio system illuminates when the parking lights are on, even if the radio is turned off.

To Play a Disc
To load or play a disc, the ignition
switch must be in the ACCESSORY
(I) or ON (II) position.
You operate the disc player with the
same controls used for the radio. To

2. Disconnect the connector (A), then remove the
connector clip (B), the wire harness clips (C), the
bolts, and the glove box frame (D).
3. Cut the plastic cross brace (A) in the glove box
opening with diagonal cutters in the area shown.

Poor AM or FM radio reception or
interference (with navigation)
NOTE:
Check the radio reception in an open area.
Compare it to a known-good vehicle of the same
model, year, and trim level whenever possible.
If necessary, have the customer demonstrate the
symptom.
Poor reception/interference can be caused by the following.
The radio station is far away.
