You can use the instrument panel brightness control knob to adjust the illumination of the audio system. The audio system illuminates when the parking lights are on, even if the radio is turned off.

To Play a Disc
To load or play a disc, the ignition
switch must be in the ACCESSORY
(I) or ON (II) position.
You operate the disc player with the
same controls used for the radio. To

but do not remove it from the slot,

disconnected.

1. Remove the front wheels.
2. Remove the splash shield (see step 21).
3. Remove the drive belt.
4. Remove the cylinder head cover.
5. Set the No.1 piston at top dead center (TDC). The
punch mark on the variable valve timing control
(VTC) actuator and the punch mark on the exhaust
camshaft sproc
