Push the release knob to open or close the console compartment, slide the lid rearward.

Seat Under Tray
If equipped
Your vehicle has a seat under tray
located under the front passenger
seat. Use the tray by pulling on the
front center edge of the tray.

DTC indicator 1: An Open in the Air Mix
Control Motor Circuit
1. Start the engine.
2. Turn on the A/C, then set the temperature control
dial to Max Hot.
3. Turn the ignition switch OFF and then ON (II).
4. Do the self-diagnostic with the HVAC control unit.
5. Check for DTCs.
Is DTC 1 indicated?
DTC P0443: EVAP Canister Purge Valve

Special Tools Required
Vacuum pump/gauge, 0-30 in.Hg, Snap-on YA4000A
or equivalent, commercially available.
NOTE: Before you troubleshoot, record all freeze data
and any on-board snapshot, and review the general
troubleshooting information.
