You can use the instrument panel brightness control knob to adjust the illumination of the audio system. The audio system illuminates when the parking lights are on, even if the radio is turned off.

To Play a Disc
To load or play a disc, the ignition
switch must be in the ACCESSORY
(I) or ON (II) position.
You operate the disc player with the
same controls used for the radio. To

but do not remove it from the slot,

Troubleshooting (Open)
1. Connect the Honda Diagnostic System (HDS) to the
data link connector (DLC) (see step 2).
2. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
3. Make sure the HDS communicates with the vehicle
and the powertrain control module (PCM). If it
doesn't communicate, troubleshoot the DLC circuit.
4. Check for DTCs.
