Wait a few minutes after turning the
engine off before you check the oil.
1. Remove the dipstick (orange
handle).
2. Wipe off the dipstick with a clean
cloth or paper towel.
3. Insert the dipstick all the way back
into its hole.
4. Remove the dipstick again, and
check the level. It
NOTE: Before doing this troubleshooting procedure,
review SRS Precautions and Procedures.
1. Erase the DTC memory.
2. Read the DTC.
Is DTC 82-14 indicated?
YES-Go to step 3.
NO-Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this
time. Go to Troubleshooting Intermittent Failures.
