Sunlight and Temperature Sensors
The climate control systemhas two sensors: a sunlight sensor on top of the dashboard, and a temperature and humidity sensor next to the steering column. Do not cover the sensors or spill any liquid on them.

To Play the AM/FMRadio
The ignition switch must be in the
ACCESSORY (I) or ON (II) position.
Turn the system on by pushing the
power/volume knob or the AM or
FM button. Adjust the volume by
turning the power/volume

1. Apply the parking brake.
2. In cold weather, turn off all
electrical accessories to reduce
the drain on the battery.
3. Make sure the shift lever is in
Park. Press on the brake pedal.
4. Without touching the accelerator
pedal, turn the ignition key to the
START (III) position. Do not

NOTE: Before doing this troubleshooting procedure,
review SRS Precautions and Procedures.
1. Erase the DTC memory.
2. Read the DTC.
Is DTC 83-26 indicated?
YES-Go to step 3.
NO-Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this
time. Go to Troubleshooting Intermittent Failures.
