You can use the instrument panel brightness control knob to adjust the illumination of the control panel. The audio system illuminates when the parking lights are on, even if the radio is turned off.

Use the following tests to check sound quality.
NOTE: Before beginning the following tests, write down
the customer's bass, treble, fader and balance settings,
and then set them to their center positions for testing.

NOTE:
Before you troubleshoot, record all freeze data and any on-board
snapshot, and review the general troubleshooting information.
If a high voltage battery (24 V, etc.) is connected to
the vehicle, this DTC can be stored.
1. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
