NOTE: Before you troubleshoot. record all freeze data and any on-board
snapshot, and review the general troubleshooting information.
1. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
2. Do the ETCS TEST in the INSPECTION MENU with
the HDS.

Check the fluid level in the brake
fluid reservoir monthly.
Replace the brake fluid according to
the maintenance messages shown on
the information display.
Always use Honda Heavy Duty
Brake Fluid DOT 3. If it is not
available, you should use only DOT 3
