After everyone has entered the vehicle, be sure the doors and the tailgate are closed and locked.
Your vehicle has a door and tailgate open indicator on the instrument panel to indicate when a specific door or the tailgate is not tightly closed.
Locking the doors reduces the chance of someone being thrown out of the vehicle during a crash, and it helps prevent passengers from accidentally opening a door and falling out.
Locking the doors also helps prevent an outsider from unexpectedly opening a door when you come to a stop.

Shifting
To shift from any position, press
firmly on the brake pedal and the
release button on the side of the
shift lever. You cannot shift out of
Park when the ignition switch is in
the LOCK (0) or ACCESSORY (I)
position.
Park (P) - This position mechanically
locks the transmission. Use
A/C Signal Circuit Troubleshooting
1. Start the engine, and let it idle.
2. Turn the blower switch on.
3. Turn the A/C switch on.
4. Check the A/C CLUTCH in the DATA LIST with the
HDS.
Does it indicate ON?
YES-Go to step 5.
5. Check the A/C system.
Does the A/C system operate? YES-The air conditioning system circuit is OK.
