This display shows the estimated distance you can travel on the fuel remaining in the tank.
This distance is estimated from the fuel economy you have achieved over the last few miles (kilometers), so it will vary with changes in speed, traffic condition, etc.

1. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
3. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
4. Start the engine.
5. Wait at least 5 seconds.
6. Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC 86 indicated?
YES-Go to step 7.
NO-Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for a loos
DTC P0973: Short in Shift Solenoid Valve A

and cannot be caused by a mechanical problem in the
transmission.
